The Instructional Coordinator (IC) works in coordination with the curriculum specialist to support classroom instruction in the core content areas across PK-8th grade. Together, they plan and implement professional development under the direction of the administrative team that benefits whole teacher teams and individual instructional needs. Additionally, the instructional coordinator provides in class support through differentiation techniques in middle school (at the teachers’ requests and/or at the request of the principals).
The IC also directs the pilot SPICE program. Special People in Catholic Education (SPICE) allows current students who require more intense intervention to receive individual, course-specific assistance in a one-on-one or small group environment.
