Mr. Osborn serves as the Pre-K through 4th grade counselor, and Mrs. Chelly serves as the 5th-8th grade counselor. Both counselors work with students by offering classroom guidance lessons, and individual and small group counseling. They also facilitate the Social-Emotional Learning curriculum in all grades. Social-emotional learning (SEL) is a process where both children and adults learn to manage their emotions, build and maintain positive self-worth, show empathy and understanding for others, and make decisions based on their faith. We understand that all of these areas are deeply rooted in a personal relationship with God and His Word.
Students may ask to meet with the grade-level counselor individually as needed. Parents and teachers may also refer students to the counselors. Please feel free to contact your child’s grade-level counselor for assistance in helping students have a successful school year.
