St. Laurence Catholic School serves about 700 students in PreK through eighth grades. We have three classes per grade level in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.
Our students are aware of their role as active members of the Christian community through their daily experiences and interactions. We encourage them to use their gifts and talents to help others through service. Each grade level is involved in a Community Service Project. Some of the projects our students complete include entertaining the elderly, collecting toiletries and household items for people in crisis, prayers, and cards for friends in need, building and stocking a library for abandoned children, and gardening to feed the hungry.
As one of the largest Catholic parish grade schools in the
Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, St. Laurence Catholic School is pleased that its graduates continue their education at Catholic or public high schools where most are able to pursue a challenging academic program and several
of our alumni have been awarded scholarships.
